Hiking paradise Ortler region in the Stelvio National Park
Numerous hiking trails start directly at the holiday home, leading you into an enchanting mountain landscape with unique flora and fauna. Hike to our mountain huts from where you can enjoy an unforgettable view over Sulden as far as Lake Reschen or the Vinschgau Valley. On your hikes in Sulden you will not only come across whistling marmots, shy red deer and industrious squirrels, but also Reinhold Messner's Tibetan yaks.
Our museums in Sulden: MMM Ortles and the Alpine Curiosa by Reinhold Messner as well as the Museum for the Ortler region are always worth a visit.
After a beautiful hike through our Stelvio National Park, dip your tired feet into the cold water of the ‘Suldner Bärenbad’, which is less than a 5-minute walk from our Haus Peder. Arm and foot pools, a barefoot path and quiet seating areas make the ‘Suldner Bärenbad’ a real treat.
Breathe in the pure and clean air of Sulden! The very high level of air purity, the reduction in allergens and the rare sultriness in summer mean that your body can recover from all the stresses and strains. Above all, house dust mite, pollen and mould allergy sufferers and patients with atopic diseases (bronchial asthma, neurodermatitis) benefit from this.
Sulden offers interesting high alpine tours with Ortler (3905 m), Königsspitze (3859 m), Zebru (3740 m) and companions. Our mountain guides from the Ortler Alpine School and the feel the mountains Alpine School will guide you safely to your destination.
You can also ski on the Stelvio Pass in summer, or take an interesting bike tour high above the world-famous hairpin bends of the Stelvio Pass road.
Our guests can enjoy a cosy get-together at the nearby barbecue area.
For our youngest guests we offer a great playground and a minigolf course in Sulden.
